TRAINING:
- We have been getting over twenty current young and `Vets players at Fitness & Touch Rugby Training on Wednesdays at 7pm at Wood Lane, so come along to join us.
- For a few weeks, we also had touch rugby at Wood Lane on a Saturday afternoon. We are having a break from this and will re-start on Saturdays in July with the bar open, and will confirm nearer the time.
THIS SATURDAY:
- The club bar will be open from noon from 2.30pm, and there’ll be the Brentford match on the TVs at 3pm. If Brentford win then there will be an OIRFC member as CEO of a Premiership club! The Champions League final will be on at 8pm
- Our sponsor, The Royal Oak has live music and will also be showing the Champions League final. The RO now has live music every Saturday.
THIS SUNDAY:
- At 10am the Football club’s very successful U18s will be playing their last match. The bar will be open from noon through the evening, and there’s a Cricket club match. Pop in for a Sunday drink in the sunshine!
NEXT SEASON:
- Your committee is now planning next season as best they can with merit table fixtures from 2nd October to 2nd April. We will start the season before then with some friendlies.
- OIRFC AGM will be on Zoom on Thursday 1st July
- Pre-season tour will be back to one of our favourite locations on 3rd to 5th September.
SOCIAL & SPORTS EVENTS:
- Sunday 1st August OIRFC Family Fun with the bar open in the afternoon and evening, including touch rugby, b-b-q, and kids stuff.
