Outstanding result last Saturday saw Old Isleworthian’s win their opening Merit Table fixture v London Wasps Cubans. 17-31.
It truly was some of the best rugby the club has played in a long time, scoring 5 try’s from different areas of the pitch. Showing that what we have working on in training is finally paying off, big thank you to Coach Chris and Dan for the hard work. This performance shows that the club has really turned a corner and is back on the up, the off season work from the committees and players finally being rewarded. Defeating a huge club like London Wasps should not be taken lightly.
Fixture change for this week. Unfortunately Bank of England could not field a side this week in our scheduled Merit table fixture. Which gives Old Isleworthian’s a 0-25 bonus point win, which is nice but the lads would have much rather built from last weeks buzz and earned the win.
This week now sees us play Slough Away in a 15:00 kick off friendly fixture any support appreciated as always.
